Minimum of 3 years on the police force (actual
patrol work not administrative) with good conduct records

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, & flexible schedule - predominately 2nd & 3rd shift hours
(1500-2300 & 2300-0700)

Have experienced crimes being committed first
hand ranging from robbery to assault
·
Ability to effectively manage crimes in progress
in accordance with established procedures utilizing the available audio/video
information.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to keep detailed notes and write
reports.

Ability to adjust to situations at a heightened
pace. Capable of both forceful communication & possess the customer service
skills necessary to communicate effectively once we have determined that an
event is non-threatening.

Pre-employment typing test (minimum passing - 25 WPM), drug screen and
criminal background investigation will be conducted
