Who are we? A third-party monitoring station responsible for monitoring residential and commercial alarm systems.

 

What do we do? CMS is the someone who contacts you in the event that your home or business alarm goes off. We verify false alarms, dispatch police, ambulance or other emergency vehicles as needed.

 

BURGLAR ALARM MONITORING REPRESENTATIVE

 

Responsible for monitoring and responding to customer accounts via video/audio alarm systems.

 

$10.50 Starting Pay

+ Shift Differentials

(1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts)

Requirements:

·         Minimum of 3 years on the police force (actual patrol work not administrative) with good conduct records

·         Must be able to work weekends, holidays, & flexible schedule - predominately 2nd & 3rd shift hours (1500-2300 & 2300-0700)

·         Have experienced crimes being committed first hand ranging from robbery to assault

·         Ability to effectively manage crimes in progress in accordance with established procedures utilizing the available audio/video information.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to keep detailed notes and write reports.

·         Ability to adjust to situations at a heightened pace. Capable of both forceful communication & possess the customer service skills necessary to communicate effectively once we have determined that an event is non-threatening.

·         Pre-employment typing test (minimum passing - 25 WPM), drug screen and criminal background investigation will be conducted
